Associate Dual Language Immersion Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Associate Dual Language Immersion Teacher to join our team at The Suzuki School. As a key member of our Montessori classrooms, you will play a vital role in cultivating high-quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool, and Kindergarten-aged students (birth through 6 years old).

Responsibilities:
  • Support the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work collaboratively with a team of educators;
  • Speak Spanish throughout the day to provide a dual-language experience for students and develop and implement Spanish lessons in accordance with the Montessori philosophy;
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment;
  • Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
  • Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
  • Communicate with parents as needed regarding routine matters related to student health and care.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older;
  • Native or fluent Spanish speaker;
  • Minimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework;
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).
