Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Director to oversee the daily operations of our properties, ensuring that all physical elements are fully functional and maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive retention and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and marketing.
  • Engage frequently with residents to develop relationships and drive retention.
  • Develop and manage yearly operating and capital budget plans to maximize net operating income.
  • Lead leasing efforts and marketing strategies to drive occupancy.
  • Ensure adherence to State and Federal Fair Housing Laws and monitor resident lease obligations.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to property and maintenance staff.
  • Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor service contracts.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff on leasing, marketing, and safety practices.
  • Perform regular property inspections and provide operational reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of Community or Assistant Manager experience.
  • Strong financial management skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment with solid multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business.
