Community Shuttle Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Community Shuttle Driver to transport our families to local shopping centers, events, and attractions in Seattle.
This volunteer position requires someone who is personable, helpful, and dependable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving in the city with minor distractions, while ensuring the safety of 11 passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 15-passenger van according to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines outlined in the Van Driving Manual and Volunteer Manual.
- Fulfill all necessary forms for each trip.
- Log destination and miles for each trip driven.
- Assist families in getting on and off the van.
- Remain in the area in case of an emergency (excluding school-related incidents).
- Report any problems, concerns, or emergencies to the House Manager.
- Record volunteer hours.
Requirements:
- Vaccination against COVID-19 with proof required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and under 75.
- Valid Washington State driver's license and insurance.
- Detailed driving record: no more than one violation, and no speeding tickets over 20 miles per hour.
- Friendly attitude, willingness, and interest in helping people.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Dependable.
Estimated Salary Range: $12-$15 per hour based on title, job description, and location.
