Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary:
">- We are seeking a Patient Shuttle Driver to join our team at Shoreline Operations LLC.
About the Role:
">This is a full-time position responsible for safely transporting residents in a courteous and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and experience caring for geriatric patients.
The Bus Driver will operate the facility's bus or van, maintain the vehicle, and ensure a positive experience for residents during transportation. Additionally, they may assist with housekeeping and/or facility maintenance when not driving.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Transport residents from designated hospitals to the facility using wheelchair-accessible vans.
- Maintain defensive driving habits and follow maps to plan efficient routes.
- Assist passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility aids, ensuring their safe entry and exit from vehicles.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure vehicles are road-ready.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, incidents, and vehicle condition reports.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by notifying emergency services and providing first aid until help arrives.
Requirements:
">- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Candidates must be at least 25 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality practices is essential.
- The ability to create a welcoming environment and interact positively with residents is crucial for this role.
