CT Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, collecting relevant information and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate CT scanners, performing procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, transferring and positioning them safely as needed.
  • Practice radiation safety, adhering to federal standards and utilizing ALARA policy.
  • Compile accurate records, expediting results and ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
  • Administer contrast media as required, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in continuing education activities, expanding knowledge of CT and meeting ARRT continuing education requirements.
  • Contribute to quality control and quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, with ARRT eligibility and BLS certification at time of hire.
  • Previous experience in Radiology, with a preference for ARRT certification in CT.
