About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Henrico Doctors Hospital Forest, a 340-bed acute care facility in Richmond, VA. As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue, used to diagnose medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
  • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • ARRT-CT certification preferred.
  • CT experience preferred.
