DIRECT HIRE | CIVIL STRUCTURES ENGINEER
Advastar Group is on the lookout for a talented Civil Structures Engineer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing calculations and analyses to facilitate the design of modular structures.

This position requires the application of sophisticated engineering methodologies and software to assess the integrity and durability of these constructions, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.


KEY COMPETENCIES:
Civil/Structural Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) certification, Analytical Calculations, Design and Review, Pre-Engineered Structures, Modular Buildings and Frameworks, Manufacturer Collaboration
Compensation range: $110K-$140K, based on experience
Comprehensive benefits package, Paid Time Off (PTO), Performance Bonuses
Preference for Licensed Engineers (PE, CE/SE) from Arizona, California, or Florida

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering with a PE License (not mandatory), consideration for Engineer-in-Training (EIT) pursuing PE
Open to candidates with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) possessing substantial Structural Experience
Proficient in Structural Calculations, analysis of Steel and Wood, Component assessments (roofing, sheathing, fasteners, etc.)
Prior experience in wood, steel, or hybrid construction is advantageous (integrated steel chassis)
Familiarity with Building Construction Design and basic knowledge of related Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design elements
Software proficiency in Excel, CAD (for mark-ups), RISA, and/or similar Structural Design applications
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across Engineering, Sales, Estimating, Production, and other departments
Goal-oriented with the capability to design, review, and obtain approval from the engineer of record (some pre-engineered standards may require additional engineering and calculations)
