Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare of East Tennessee. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of patients, developing and evaluating plans of care in partnership with patients, representatives, and caregivers.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Provide services ordered by physicians, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition to RN supervisors, and counseling and educating patients and families on healthcare-related needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, promoting coordination of patient care and planning for discharge, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare practitioners related to the current plan of care.
  • Quality and Compliance: Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, in-services, and training as requested, and access protected health information necessary to fulfill duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) in which you practice.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform and provide evidence of current CPR certification for adults, children, and infants, and effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce.
  • Work Environment: Work is normally performed in patients' homes, schools, or occupational settings, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and other potentially infectious or hazardous materials.
  • Physical Demands: Medium physical activity requiring occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. to carry out daily job functions and related activities.
