  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, and mentor new staff members.
  • Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families, and administer IV fluids and medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Take physician orders and transcribe them accurately.
  • Liaise with doctors and keep them informed of patient/resident changes and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports and records.
  • Identify issues or emergencies and respond in a calm and efficient manner to promote best medical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current License in the State in which you are working
  • Current CPR certification
  • Prior experience required, unless in our accepted Preceptor Program
  • Excellent leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate with sound judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and reasoning
  • Proficient in technology and medical software systems
  • Ability to handle stress and work confirmed shifts
  • Ability to follow the nurse practice act and adapt to the needs of the facility
