Position Overview:
The Retail Operations Specialist will assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in various aspects of sales, customer engagement, store presentation, and operational efficiency.

This role will also take on shift management duties when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide store team members in delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and professional clients.
  • Oversee customer service standards in the retail showroom, ensuring team members effectively implement customer service initiatives.
  • Ensure timely processing of online orders, store transfers, and other customer requests, maintaining communication with customers regarding their orders.
  • Manage special orders and external purchases efficiently, adhering to established procedures.
  • Facilitate retail customer returns and exchanges in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring accurate refunds and proper handling of returned merchandise.
  • Verify that all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced prior to leaving the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to team members as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to the work schedule, with any changes approved by management, and confirm that team members are clocking in and out as per company policy.
  • Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day-end procedures, securing funds, and ensuring the safety of the premises.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired:

  • Experience in retail sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
  • ASE Certification.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with Spanish being highly preferred.
