Job Title: Medical Assistant

**About the Role**

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, facilitating patient flow, and contributing to a team-based setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Patient Care**: Actively manage the flow of patients through the clinic, including pre-visit chart preparation and information gathering.
  • **Administrative Support**: Assist providers with medical histories, documentation, and clinical procedures.
  • **Clinical Duties**: Check routine vital signs and point of care testing, as needed.
  • **Team Collaboration**: Participate in process improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
  • **Support Functions**: Assist co-workers in their duties within the limitations of training and scope of practice.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • **Training**: Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
  • **Certification**: Maintains current AHA Basic Life Support Certification.
  • **Communication**: Ability to write and verbally communicate in English.
  • **Language**: Knowledge of a second language preferred.
  • **Experience**: Current experience as a Medical Assistant, with experience in administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred.
