Job Summary

This role supports the community relations department with communications and volunteer management. The primary responsibilities include identifying, tracking, and managing volunteers for the benefit of the McNabb Center programs and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a structured program for Center-based volunteers.
  • Streamline the application and review process for volunteers desiring to work within the Center's clinical programs and events.
  • Conduct volunteer orientation and training.
  • Identify and expand volunteer opportunities Center-wide.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Recruit, vet, interview, and onboard volunteer applicants as appropriate.
  • Manage volunteers from initial contact through conclusion of volunteer duties.
  • Record and track all Center-related volunteer hours.
  • Manage the volunteer database and maintain updated records on all volunteers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in communications, marketing, human resources, or a related field.
  • Communications and/or volunteer management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Highly organized, with strong communication skills.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
