Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will oversee the daily management of all HR functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves crafting legally compliant job postings, facilitating onboarding processes, managing employee benefits, overseeing payroll, and maintaining personnel documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and update the employee handbook and job descriptions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements for employment documents.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Assistant to process payroll bi-weekly.
  • Serve as a liaison for employee benefits and assist staff with inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Manage the 401K benefit program and assist with workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct employee surveys and manage personnel files.
  • Support the development of training programs and employee performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in human resources management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the organization's mission.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with administrative management practices.

Work Environment:

  • This position is part-time, with most work conducted during standard business hours.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events.

Compensation:

The compensation package includes an hourly wage commensurate with experience, along with benefits for eligible part-time employees.
