Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Resource Center Manager to join our team at WorkSource Oregon. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in planning, overseeing, and coordinating activities of programs designed to assist individuals and families with various housing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of specially funded and mandated programs, including Section 8 Homeownership, Oregon Home Ownership Assistance Programs, and Community Development Block Grant Home Repair Programs.
  • Supervise Housing Center team members and monitor progress, directing the Housing Center grants through completion.
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives, establish schedules and methods for providing assigned program services, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Promote and coordinate specific activities within all assigned programs, prepare marketing materials, and conduct continuous recruiting for program participants.
  • Maintain records and develop reports concerning program effectiveness, maintain records for program enrollment and participant attendance.

Requirements

  • Two years of college-level coursework in business, social science, or public administration.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in grant management, project development, direct client service, and program development, real estate knowledge, or Community Land Trusts.
  • Two years minimum experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as online accounting software systems.
  • Must possess or ability to obtain HUD Counselor Certification within 6 months of hire.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 8am-5:00pm. The employer offers a competitive salary of $39.28 per hour, plus 3% additional pay for bilingual employees.
