Position: Desktop Support - System Analyst

Contract Duration: 10+ months
Contract Type: Temporary
Important Notes:
- Interviews may be conducted via Webcam or In-person
- Only candidates from the South Georgia region will be considered
- A+ Certification or Network+ Certification is mandatory (Certification must be uploaded)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site technical assistance for users within designated areas.
Diagnose and resolve workstation and peripheral issues both remotely and face-to-face.
Ensure that user applications and devices function correctly and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
Install and maintain network devices that provide essential services.
Conduct data backup and recovery for end users with meticulous attention to detail.
Manage surplus equipment in accordance with established protocols, ensuring proper sanitization of electronic devices, including disk wiping to DoD standards.
Document and track problem tickets, escalating to appropriate teams as necessary.
Collaborate with vendor support to troubleshoot technical issues related to desktop hardware and software.
Assist with special projects, including the setup, breakdown, and relocation of computer systems and peripherals.
