Assistant Manager Job Description

At Aradi Properties, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Jimmy Johns. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the management of staff, handle customer complaints, and ensure food and service quality.
  • Team Development: Train and work alongside the team to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Cost Control: Help manage food and labor costs to ensure profitability.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, budgeting, and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Industry Knowledge: General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations required.
  • Age: At least 18 years of age.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Stress Management: Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store.
  • Leadership: Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees.
