Job Title: Assistant Manager

About the Role:

The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Operations Manager in achieving financial performance and revenue growth strategy for our assigned location(s). This includes working closely with the Operations Manager to understand and leverage knowledge of dental services in the local market, ensuring the execution of the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) to gain Patients for Life (PFL), and providing leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Company Culture: Embody the company's values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Act as Manager: Assume responsibility for the supported practice in the Operations Manager's absence.
  • Plan and Prepare Work Schedules: Assign team members to specific duties and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop Patient Communication Skills: Work with team members to enhance patient communication skills and facilitate learning.
  • Execute PPE: Create a team focus on executing the Owner Dentists Clinical Culture to support the PPE.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure Adherence: Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Provide Feedback: Provide feedback on specific tactics that change financial and patient outcomes, benefiting the rest of the organization.
  • Maintain Facility Cleanliness: Ensure the office follows PDS standards for facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead Daily Huddles: Lead and participate in daily huddles and all other meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate Stewardship: Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand, making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Be a subject matter expert in executing PDS' processes, systems, and tools, while actively contributing to their improvement.
  • Catalyst for PPE: Be a catalyst for the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff to gain Patients for Life.
  • Support Clinician Education: Support clinicians' education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain Professional Appearance: Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state, federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Course Work or On-the-Job Training: Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.
