Environmental Services Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Environmental Services Worker III to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including waste packaging and shipment.
- Collaborate with the Department Training Coordinator to provide support with training and education.
- Act as a preceptor, supporting new hires with onboarding and career growth.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of Environmental Services Orientation Training Program within three months after hire.
- May obtain Cleaning Management Institute Basic in one year from date of hire.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge to be successful in the EVS Worker II role.
- Meets the physical demands of the job, as evaluated by functional screening.
