Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker and pastry chef to join our team at Harvard Street Bakery & Cafe. Our bakery is a renowned destination for French patisserie in downtown Hemet, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts for our menu
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay ahead of the competition
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Collaborate with our management team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Proven track record of success in baking and pastry production
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Compensation:

Pay is negotiable up to $22.00/hr depending on skill level and experience.
