Associate Executive Director of Mentoring Programs

The YMCA of Central Maryland is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Executive Director of Mentoring Programs to lead our team in delivering high-quality mentoring services to youth in our community.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective mentoring programs that meet the needs of our youth and community partners.
  • Lead a team of site-based program specialists who coordinate and conduct volunteer recruitment and orientation with business partners.
  • Manage and coordinate program planning and implementation with school and corporate partners.
  • Oversee the development and management of site-based program budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure program quality and a consistent service delivery in both site and community-based mentoring program areas.
  • Support and serve as a leader on the Youth Development Team, as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or youth development setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful mentoring programs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including youth, families, community partners, and staff.
