Job Description

Serco is seeking a highly skilled FEMA Consultant Mid-Level to join our team in supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) disaster recovery initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will provide expertise in various disciplines to support state, tribal, territorial, and local governments, as well as private non-profits, in multiple zones across the Midwest.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FEMA Public Assistance (PA) experience or relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience, and a professional certification may be required or preferred. You must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance and be a United States citizen. Additionally, you should have excellent Microsoft Office skills, be comfortable using a smartphone, and have the ability to deploy to any location in Zone 2 with 24-48 hour notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in various disciplines to support state, tribal, territorial, and local governments, as well as private non-profits.
  • Support FEMA Public Assistance (PA) disaster recovery initiatives in multiple zones across the Midwest.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and private organizations.

Requirements:

  • FEMA Public Assistance (PA) experience or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Professional certification may be required or preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
  • United States citizenship.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone.
