Job Overview:
We are in search of a diligent and detail-oriented Safety Compliance Specialist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, implementing, and managing safety initiatives to foster a secure, healthy, and accident-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage health and safety programs in accordance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to safety standards.
3. Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Create and deliver safety training sessions for employees to enhance awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
5. Participate in safety committee meetings, conduct accident investigations, and formulate corrective action plans.
6. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports and training records.
7. Stay informed about new legislation and maintain knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations affecting the industry.
8. This position requires travel ranging from 75% to 100%.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator within the agricultural sector.
3. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are preferred.
4. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
5. Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, CMS, OSHA, and TJC compliance is preferred.
6. Proven experience in conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate employees on safety practices.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
