Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for all clients and staff. The role involves daily cleaning of designated areas with minimal disruption to operations. Interaction with clients and staff is essential, requiring a friendly and professional demeanor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas and rooms.
  • Perform mopping, vacuuming, and floor maintenance.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
  • Wash walls and clean high-touch areas.
  • Restock restroom supplies as necessary.
  • Empty and sanitize waste receptacles.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms.
  • Prepare units for new residents.
  • Change and make beds as required.
  • Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding.
  • Distribute fresh linens and towels.
  • Wash windows and maintain blinds.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
