Overview: The Mechanical Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing a range of duties related to project oversight, strategic planning, and client engagement.
Reports to: Operations Manager and/or Field Services Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage various project assignments as directed by the Operations Manager or the overseeing Director.
- Support the business development initiatives of the organization, including preconstruction activities, strategic project delivery approaches, maintaining a client-focused perspective, and assisting with presentations.
- Engage in necessary peer reviews with project team members, offering insights and confirmations on productivity metrics, assembly breakdown structures, constructability assessments, alternative methods, general condition evaluations, and scope definition for project proposals.
- Facilitate and assist in all project close-out, start-up, and training processes in alignment with best practices in facility management and technical specifications.
- Comply with Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best Practices during all work-related activities.
- Maintain a proactive and positive interface with clients throughout the service delivery process.
- Ensure quality control to verify field compliance with all relevant project specifications and technical requirements.
- Provide essential project information to accurately complete conceptual or ongoing performance schedules in an organized manner.
- Oversee project financial management for all relevant commitments, contract modifications, and resolution of claims for out-of-scope services, adhering to Corporate Standards.
- Encourage and sustain open communication among all project team members, consultants, inspectors, relevant agencies, and subcontractors.
- Uphold all Corporate standards in conjunction with Project Control requirements to ensure financial and administrative accountability, alongside risk management. All project documentation must align with the master contract terms and conditions.

Educational & Experience Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- LEED certification is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with A/Z web-based applications within 30 days of employment.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. On-site requirements include the ability to perform tasks across all aspects of construction sites, including climbing ladders and crawling as necessary. The ability to work from aerial lifts is also essential. This position may require the ability to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Additionally, the team member should be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, reaching overhead, and kneeling as required. The work environment may include GMP Aseptic and non-Aseptic Areas, as well as Non-GMP Areas (office spaces). All physical demands and work environment conditions comply with applicable laws and regulations.
