POSITION OVERVIEW
The CDL Driver (Class B) is tasked with the safe operation of a collection vehicle, ensuring timely, courteous, and comprehensive waste removal services for our clients. This role includes maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations while conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure all safety and operational standards are met.
- Safely navigate the designated route, adhering to all safety protocols while servicing each customer as outlined.
- Utilize manual and automatic controls to efficiently manage refuse collection and disposal.
- Engage courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Identify and address any unsatisfactory waste containers in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Monitor waste for compliance with acceptable standards.
- Maintain cleanliness around disposal sites and adhere to safety standards during clean-up operations.
- Complete necessary documentation, including route sheets and vehicle condition reports.
- Meet productivity standards to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Participate actively in safety programs and adhere to all company policies.
- Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
