Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Hilton Mystic, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing and compiling management reports, and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and compile management reports, including financial and statistical data, to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, including the General Manager and Accounting Department, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Perform guest services functions as required, including check-in, check-out, and reservations.
  • Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports, including the Daily Operating Report and Discount Programs.
  • Prepare and distribute month-end reports, including financial and statistical data.
  • Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
  • Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events, or deviations from policies or procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Guest Service Experience preferred.
  • Computer knowledge/skills required, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, including 11pm-7am.
