Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at CPP Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments, as well as maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mark parts according to customer specifications using a vibropeen.
  • Create customer pack slips using the Visual Manufacturing System.
  • Box parts and process shipments through various systems, including UPS Worldship, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express, and LTL services.
  • Work in a responsible, safe, and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to retain and process varying information to complete pack slips, certifications, and exportation of freight.
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (proof of MVR will be required).
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Basic math ability, including addition.
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to retrieve, organize, and save files and emails.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing and production, with a preference for aerospace castings.
  • Good communication skills at all levels within the organization.
  • Able to interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors in a positive manner.
  • Solid job history, including more than 1 year at a previous or recent employer.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
  • Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
Working Conditions
  • The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
