About the Role

This position is a full-time contingent opportunity that requires working 30-40 hours per week, with possible floating to other nearby locations and alternating weekends. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, including administering vaccinations and injections, obtaining vital signs, and performing emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
  • Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care as needed
  • Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout processes
  • Assist with wait room management, appointment scheduling, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
  • Prepare the clinic and waiting space for optimal patient care

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, with evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to document within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation
  • Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
  • Experience with EPIC EMR

Licensure and Education:

  • Fully licensed LPN/LVN with a valid license in a State
  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by NLNAC
