Job Title: Asset Management Support Specialist

Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) as an Asset Management Support Specialist and make a meaningful impact on challenging projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date asset inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve asset-related issues.
  • Provide expert-level support for asset management processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with asset management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with team members.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Detailed-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) suite.
