Job Summary:

The Electronics Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of video surveillance systems at various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and experience with CCTV systems.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Providing preventive and remedial maintenance services on IP-based CCTV systems.
  • Diagnosing and correcting equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Performing function tests and analysis on various systems.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and cleaning on all CCTV system components.
  • Providing on-site system training and technical support as needed.
  • Updating web-based maintenance management system and providing tracking of government equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Formal electronics training from a technical school or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications.
  • Eight (8) years of practical experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout.
  • Two (2) years of experience in supervision and shop practices.
  • Three (3) years of practical experience in electronics repair and installation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IP-based CCTV experience.
  • OEM factory training from Genetec, Axis, and/or Cisco Switches.
  • Security+ CE network certification.

Clearance:

A background investigation will be required for the successful candidate.
