Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as an Assistant Manager for our Food Justice and Sustainability initiatives at the University of Detroit Mercy. As a member of the Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN), you will play a key role in engaging the campus and surrounding community in food justice and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of food justice and sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborate with campus and community partners to promote food justice and sustainability
  • Help to develop and maintain relationships with local food vendors and suppliers
  • Assist in the coordination of food distribution events and activities
  • Help to track and report on program metrics and outcomes

Requirements

  • College graduate
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
