The Division of Life Sciences at Rutgers University is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an annually renewable, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in cell biology and neuroscience and cancer biology to students majoring in the life sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching courses with a focus on cell biology and neuroscience and cancer biology
- Developing and implementing educational programs to promote equity and inclusion
- Mentoring students and providing academic support
- Participating in departmental service and committee work
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline
- Experience teaching at a university level
- Experience teaching large classes (greater than 150 students)
- Experience in educational research
