Senior Accountant Job Description

As a Senior Accountant at Jobot, you will play a critical role in driving the company's financial health and success. This dynamic finance position offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate and enhance your accounting skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Implement cost accounting practices to track and control costs effectively.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide a clear understanding of the company's financial position.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to support management in strategic decision-making.
  • Apply financial accounting principles to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Apply management accounting practices to support decision-making and control.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations and investments.
  • Develop financial models to forecast future financial scenarios and support strategic planning.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning and performance measurement.
  • Manage global treasury functions to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the skills listed above.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards.
