Job Summary

AmeriPro EMS of Kentucky LLC is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team in Louisville, KY. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
  • Operate medical equipment, such as cardiac monitors and ventilators
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Collaborate with other emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current state-specific Paramedic license and NREMT certification required
  • CPR: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required (where applicable)
  • Valid state-specific driver's license required
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a Paramedic or in a similar medical role
  • Additional certifications or advanced training in emergency services, such as AMLS, PHTLS, and/or ATLS
  • Technology proficiency
