Summary Objective:

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the processes related to grant reimbursements. This position operates independently with minimal supervision, reporting significant activities through regular meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research, collection, and analysis of financial data, preparing necessary reconciliations, work papers, and schedules.

• Assess program procedures for their effectiveness and develop modifications as needed.

• Perform compliance research and reviews to ensure adherence to federal and state grant regulations, coordinating audits from federal and funding sources.

• Assist in the creation, execution, and monitoring of audit processes and corrective action plans.

• Provide expert guidance on grant activities, reimbursements, and mandatory funding source reporting.

• Accurately prepare grant reconciliations within set deadlines.

• Monitor and review the reconciliation of grant cost centers against awarded amounts.

• Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in finance, accounting, budget preparation, or analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

• This role involves sedentary work with occasional walking or standing, requiring the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force regularly or maintain sustained keyboard operations.

Work Environment:

• There are no unavoidable hazards associated with this position.
