Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Lee Health. As a key member of our Pediatric Ophthalmology department, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout their care journey.
Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and effective support to patients and families, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to Lee Health's standards and policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service and pediatric ophthalmology.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatric ophthalmology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and safety.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
