Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role
  • This position is part of a production support team and will work under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting test sets down to component level, including analog and digital interfaces, and software.
  • Resolution of issues on production line test sets in various locations – travel may be required.
  • The team environment will require collaboration to ensure production and sustainment turnaround time is met.
  • Analysis of test data of products to ensure test specifications are met.
  • Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline such as Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Experience with fault isolation, troubleshooting at the system to WRA/LRU/Card level and/or experience with reading & interpreting drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Experience working on a production program.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to support multiple site locations operations in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-based production environment.
  • Experience on supplier engagement.
  • Experience with documenting test results and repair recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, or PSPICE.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate to leadership and colleagues.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000, depending on experience.
