Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conceptualize designs to support existing and new product offerings.
  • Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure concept realization and feasibility.
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
  • Use engineering analysis and simulation to design in product quality and reduce iteration and issues.
  • Create design documentation for release to manufacturing.
  • Support design through production tooling, qualification testing, and manufacturing introduction.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical product design required.
  • 3D CAD mechanical design experience (SolidWorks).
  • Experience in metal part design and associated mass production processes.
