  • Prepare patients for physical exams, record health information, and perform administrative/clerical duties related to patient care.
  • Work with healthcare providers to deliver primary care to clients, including phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and performing screening tests.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to improve individual, family, and community health outcomes.
  • Provide support to proactive patient care and care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Technical training beyond high school in Medical Assisting or a directly related field that allows for a State or Federal recognized medical assistant certification.
  • One year of work experience in a similar field or work setting (e.g., nursing assistant, home health aides, personal care aides).
  • State or Federal recognized medical assistant certification at the time of hire.
