Job Summary:

As a Pediatric Medical Assistant at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting our primary care team in Corvallis. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting practitioners with procedures, handling telephone prescription orders and refills, maintaining accurate patient records, and relaying test results.

Department Description:

The Primary Care teams at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. offer comprehensive healthcare services for families from newborns to seniors. Our pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine providers work together to provide preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling on health and lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist practitioners with procedures and patient care
• Handle telephone prescription orders and refills
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Relay test results
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Previous medical back office experience or medical assistant training preferred
• Experience in applicable specialty area preferred
• Lab/EKG experience preferred
