Psychiatric Mental Health Technician, Nights, Full Time

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a state-of-the-art facility providing evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. As a Behavioral/Psychiatric Health Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the ongoing assessment of patient safety and emotional needs
- Implement individualized care plans and provide intervention as needed
- Support patients with personal grooming and hygiene
- Participate in assigned groups and activities to meet patient needs
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu, utilizing verbal de-escalation techniques and physical management as necessary
- Make regular patient rounds to ensure safety
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges, including vital signs and belongings searches

To be eligible, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field preferred. CPR certification is required, and experience as a psychiatric technician is a plus.
