Cedar Creek Hospital is seeking a qualified Behavioral/Psychiatric Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support under the direction of our experienced staff.
Responsibilities- Assist in the ongoing assessment of patient safety and emotional needs
- Implement individualized care plans and provide interventions as needed
- Assist patients with personal grooming and hygiene
- Participate in assigned groups and activities to meet patient needs
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Provide verbal de-escalation techniques and physical management as needed
- Make regular patient rounds to ensure patient safety
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services preferred
- CPR certification required
- Experience working as a psychiatric technician preferred
