About the Position
Cedar Creek Hospital is seeking a qualified Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support in our state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the ongoing assessment of patient safety and emotional needs
- Demonstrate awareness of treatment plans and provide individualized care
- Assist patients with personal grooming and hygiene
- Participate in assigned groups and activities
- Maintain therapeutic and professional rapport with patients
- Participate in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Make regular patient safety checks
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services preferred
- CPR certification required
- Experience working as a psychiatric technician preferred
