Psychiatric Mental Health Technician

As a Behavioral/Psychiatric Health Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing innovative and evidence-based treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the ongoing assessment of patient safety and emotional needs, providing individualized care and intervention as needed.
- Participate in assigned groups and activities to meet the needs of various patient populations, promoting a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Provide verbal de-escalation techniques and physical management, as required.
- Make regular rounds on patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges, performing vital signs and belongings searches as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services preferred.
- CPR certification required; experience working as a psychiatric technician preferred.
