Music Instrument Repair Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repair Specialist to join our team. As an Instrument Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner. Your expertise will ensure that instruments are returned to customers in good playing order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and repair brass, woodwind, orchestral, and percussion instruments
- Provide estimates for instrument repairs
- Work on a timetable to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Repair instruments for customers and retail clients
- Perform high-quality work at an hourly rate exceeding the shop's hourly rate
- Assist with repair clinics and school events as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school
- At least 6 years of experience working on musical instruments daily
Physical Demands:
- Noise environment
- Standing, sitting, walking
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling instruments and cases up to 75 pounds
- Mild cleaning chemical smell
