Position Overview
The Lead Risk Assessor plays a crucial role in fulfilling profit, growth, service, and expense goals through meticulous financial evaluation and pricing strategies for Prime's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Risk Assessor, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of customer utilization and financial performance, often involving intricate scenarios.
  • Perform detailed claims re-pricing analyses on complex external claims data.
  • Support Sales, Marketing, and Client Engagement teams by aiding in the creation of client presentations and negotiations regarding pricing and guarantees.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, IT, and Marketing, to address issues with financial implications.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) or healthcare sectors.
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematical applications relevant to underwriting, including proficiency in calculating discounts, proportions, and percentages.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating in both individual and small group settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience
Two years of experience as a Senior Underwriter or Benefits Consultant is advantageous.

Physical Requirements
This role requires:

  • Constant sitting, hand usage, and verbal communication.
  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light weights.

Reporting Structure
This position reports to a Manager or Director within the Finance department.

Compensation
The potential salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $128,400, contingent upon experience and skills.
