Job Summary

As a key member of the DMC Receiving Hospital team, the Radiologic Technologist Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Radiology Department. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and guiding staff in carrying out their duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of radiologic technologists, ensuring that diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of work flow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide input for performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines, ensuring that personnel actions are fair and consistent.
  • Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and ensure compliance with laws, government regulations, and DMC policies.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
  • Two years progressively more responsible Radiologic work experience.
