Job Summary

As a key member of the DMC Receiving Hospital team, the Radiologic Technologist Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Radiology Department. This position requires a strong leader who can coordinate the workflow, delegate tasks, and oversee the activities of Radiologic Technologists to ensure that diagnostic procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of work and delegate tasks to Radiologic Technologists to ensure efficient operation of the department.
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of work flow to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards and policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
  • Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and ensure compliance with laws, government regulations, and DMC policies.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
  • Two years progressively more responsible Radiologic work experience.
