Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Welcome members into the branch, provide friendly and helpful service, and promote a positive financial well-being.
  • Internal and External Sales: Meet established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members.
  • Cross-Selling: Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and foster branch growth.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests.
  • Asset Security: Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 6:15pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am – 1:15pm in our Roseville branch.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).
  • Experience: One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
  • Cash Handling: One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
  • Decision-Making: Good decision-making skills and judgement.
  • Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
  • Diversity: Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.
  • Appearance: A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
  • Compliance: Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Attendance: Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
