Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and implementation of control systems for industrial processes and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in designing and implementing automation solutions using PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS platforms such as Emerson DeltaV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of control systems for industrial processes and machinery.
  • Develop system architectures, select components, and create detailed schematics.
  • Program controllers (PLC, DCS) and visualization systems (HMI/SCADA).
  • Develop databases for historical data archiving and display.
  • Implement and commission control systems at client sites.
  • Manage project execution plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and ensure project profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in control systems, including Emerson DeltaV and PLC platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Modicon.
  • Proven experience in PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA platforms like Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva System Platform, Ignition, and others.
  • Experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Life Sciences, and Building Automation.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
